The Unveiling of Clay Elementary School to “Dr. Bertha Pendleton Elementary School”
YOU’RE INVITED to a history making event! Former CUPC member, Dr. Bertha Pendleton, has received the prestigious honor of having a school and park named after her. Dr. Pendleton was the first African-American female to become Superintendent of the San Diego Unified School District. She was a dedicated and faithful member of CUPC, including choir member and Elder. The unveiling of Clay Elementary School to “Dr. Bertha Pendleton Elementary School” will take place on March 27th at 10:00am.

Dr. Kerry to Share with Hope Congregation, The Ghana Presbyterian Church. Join us as Pastor Kerry preaches for Hope Congregation on Sunday, March 23, 2025, at 2:30 PM in the sanctuary. Pastor Kerry is fostering a dynamic relationship with the congregation. Your supportive presence would be greatly appreciated.
